Description

Blue engraved figures, pastoral scenes, and ornamental flourishes densely populate a cream ground in the classical toile de Jouy style, creating an intricate narrative of aristocratic leisure, hunting, and countryside romance. The composition balances detailed linework with negative space, where repeated vignettes of shepherds, horses, architectural elements, and botanical motifs interlock across the surface in a rhythmic, wallpaper-like arrangement. Made to order from soft micro-twill and cut by hand, insert included. Real art for the spaces you actually use, not store-shelf filler.

Care
