Description
Delicate pen-and-ink vignettes of pastoral scenes, country cottages, grazing animals, and ornamental gardens repeat across a soft blue and white striped ground in the classic toile de Jouy tradition. The composition balances intricate line work with generous white space, creating a rhythmic, meditative pattern that evokes 18th-century French textile artwork. At home in a traditional study, dining room, or bedroom with classic furnishings. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
