Description
Blue and white toile depicts an idyllic pastoral landscape populated with castles, cypress trees, grazing animals, and delicate figures engaged in leisurely pursuits across rolling hills. The repeating pattern combines intricate line work with soft gray tones, creating a classical, romantic sensibility characteristic of 18th-century French textile traditions. At home in a traditional bedroom, study, or spaces celebrating vintage European aesthetics. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
