Description
Layered clouds dominate a moody sky rendered in bold strokes of cream, pale yellow, and slate gray, while a dark landscape silhouette grounds the composition at the base. Thomson builds atmospheric depth through horizontal bands of color that shift from cool blues and teals to warm whites, capturing the weight and movement of storm clouds with expressive, gestural brushwork. At home in a study or gallery space that honors early modernism and landscape tradition. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
