Description
A figure sits cross-legged with long legs extended upward, holding a needle-like object pointed skyward in a pose of frustrated constraint. Rendered in solid black with halftone-textured circular forms, the composition captures a moment of confinement against a pale ground, the figure's body language expressing both resignation and defiant gesture. At home in a workspace or personal room exploring themes of limitation and aspiration. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
