Description
A cream-colored ceramic vessel with two rounded handles sits against a dark charcoal ground, its bulbous body filled with vertical columns of stacked cross marks in a rhythmic, geometric pattern. The minimalist composition evokes tribal pottery traditions while the repetitive mark-making creates a meditative, almost textile-like quality across the form. At home in a bohemian living room or a gallery-minded study space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
