Shot in black and white, the photograph captures the weathered surfaces and varied orientations of each cork with documentary precision, evoking the accumulated memory of shared bottles and celebrations. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
