Description
Stacked VHS tapes fill the entire composition in a dense, chaotic arrangement, their spines crowded together in a patchwork of black casings, cream labels, and occasional splashes of color from logos and rating symbols. The overhead perspective flattens the tapes into an abstract visual rhythm, creating a nostalgic archive of 1980s and 1990s media culture rendered as a textured, pattern-based composition. In a media room, creative studio, or retro-themed space celebrating analog entertainment. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
