Description

A dense grid of stacked VHS tapes fills the entire composition, their spines displaying a chaotic mix of handwritten labels, printed text, and colorful instant film boxes interspersed throughout. The palette ranges from muted blacks and grays to bursts of rainbow hues, creating a nostalgic archive of analog media that feels both cluttered and meticulously documented. Soft micro-twill, cut and sewn by hand into a rectangular cushion with a hidden zip, insert included and made to order. The lumbar piece that finishes a sofa or bed, carrying an independent artist's work instead of store-shelf filler.

About The Artist

I create paintings, drawings, and pigment transfers that explore memory, time, and change. Working from family photographs, found imagery, and fragments of popular culture, I erase, obscure, and reconstruct familiar images until they exist somewhere between recognition and disappearance. My work considers the traces we leave behind and the way memories shift over time.
