Description
A giant emperor peacock moth dominates the composition with intricate patterning across its wings, rendered in bold strokes of yellow, green, and deep teal against a swirling background of pale yellow and muted greens. The expressionistic brushwork captures both the delicate detail of the insect's eye-spots and the restless energy of the surrounding foliage, creating a sense of intimate observation charged with emotional intensity. At home in a naturalist's study or a creative workspace filled with curiosities. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
