Description
An antique cartographic rendering of Lake Pontchartrain and its surrounding Louisiana landscape features soft cream paper tones layered with muted greens, browns, and rust-red linework that traces waterways, settlements, and geographical boundaries. The composition balances detailed topographical information with an aged, weathered quality that speaks to the map's historical provenance and the careful documentation of nineteenth-century surveying. At home in a study, library, or anywhere history and geography inspire curiosity. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
