Description
A detailed cartographic rendering of Rome from 1911 presents the city's streets, districts, and landmarks in warm ochre, cream, and burnt orange tones against a pale background. The composition layers building footprints, waterways, and a numbered legend with classical cartographic precision, creating a richly textured historical document that captures the urban geography of early twentieth-century Rome. At home in a study, library, or any space celebrating history and travel. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
