Description
A bold watermelon slice fills the composition with hot pink flesh dotted by black seeds scattered across its surface, while a crisp white rind and green exterior anchor the bottom half. The layered watercolor technique creates soft color transitions and organic texture, giving the fruit an almost dreamlike, impressionistic quality despite its recognizable form. At home in a cheerful kitchen or a bright, playful living space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
