A cartoonish figure executes a playful dive into the hollow center of a halved watermelon, rendered in bright red with characteristic black seeds and a green rind. The composition balances whimsy with clean linework, set against a soft gray background that lets the fruit's saturated colors command full attention. At home in a kitchen, a child's room, or anywhere summery afternoons are celebrated. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
