Description

A single black peony fills the composition with its layered petals rendered in fine linear detail against a warm beige ground. The ink drawing captures the flower's full, ruffled form with precise cross-hatching that creates depth and texture throughout each petal. Alisa is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. She finds inspiration in nature (especially plants), textiles, and interior spaces. Passionate about experimenting, she enjoys exploring mixed media techniques, combining different materials to create unique textures. Her creative process is often highly intuitive, adding a sense of spontaneity and freshness to her work. In recent years, Alisa has developed a strong passion for collages and linocuts.
