Turbulent ocean waves surge across the lower half of this black and white photograph, their texture rendered in rich grays and deep charcoals. A thick bank of fog or mist consumes the upper portion, creating an almost abstract division between churning water below and obscured sky above, evoking a sense of atmospheric dissolution and raw coastal power. At home in a minimalist bedroom, meditation space, or serene living room. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
