Description

Horizontal bands of watercolor wash in shades from pale lavender to deep indigo create a layered landscape that evokes rolling hills or distant horizons enveloped in mist. The composition builds downward through increasingly saturated tones, with raw paper showing through translucent passages that suggest depth and atmospheric perspective in a contemplative, minimalist approach. Bound with 52 pages of 70lb paper, lined or unlined, behind an anti-scuff matte cover with wraparound artwork, made to order. Notes and sketches kept behind an independent artist's work, not a plain composition cover.
