Sarah Cummings is an emerging Albuquerque artist who has found her voice through visual art. Her work often depicts the divine feminine in many different forms. Her work is her process in healing. Through her different mediums Cummings expresses visceral emotions that we are all familiar with, in a tangible visual form. Cummings has used her work to show the power of art in healing traumas and has worked with women to use their creative voice to empower and heal. She works with people to show them how to encourage the healing process through purging emotion onto paper, and finding reoccurring themes, structures, and attaching feelings to colors and shapes. Sarah is completing her degree in Sociology and Art, in hopes to follow her dream in healing as an Art Therapist.

She is influenced by the abstract style of Salvador Dali, the vibrant colors of Wassily Kandinsky and the expression of the human condition portrayed by Hieronymus Bosch.
