Tracy Butler Art

I was born in Glasgow and studied at both the Glasgow School of Art and Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London, graduating with an Honours Degree in 1990.

I work in soft pastel, oil and acrylic and anything else that takes my fancy at the moment. I have had successful solo and joint exhibitions in London, Glasgow and at the Pittenweem Arts Festival and have commissioned work throughout the UK for private clients and companies, including Sun Microsystems and Butlins.

Now living in Glasgow, I have lived in both Canada and South Korea and have worked for the Royal National Theatre in London and Edinburgh, and on the TV series, Outlander, in production for Starz - in the Breakdown and Dye department. I have also had the pleasure of writing art tutorials for EnvatoTuts, an online tutorial website - you can find links to my individual art articles on the links page.

I am currently the Artist in Residence at the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit working in Horatio's Garden.
