I grew up loving to draw anime. I came to the U.S. from Japan as a teenager and received a degree in illustration. Currently I am mom to 9 cats, including a black long hair beauty with green eyes named Miu. She keeps me company while I work in the studio. It is from her I get the inspiration to illustrate the undeniable bond between a girl and her cat, and the love of all cats.
