Tara White is an Atlanta-based surface pattern designer who is equally obsessed with bold textures, graphic florals, subtle digital landscapes, and precise geometrics. Her process usually begins with a hand sketch, watercolor painting, or photograph, and she then transforms the original using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to manipulate color, texture, and composition. Tara is inspired by Japanese textiles, abstract expressionist paintings, Italian films, deep house, and dappled light shining through the leaves of trees.
