Description
A blindfolded suitor is led into an ornate palace courtyard where a princess waits among her attendants, rendered in the jewel tones and precise detail of 18th-century Indian miniature painting. The composition unfolds across two architectural planes, with warm ochres and deep blues creating a layered narrative of courtly ritual, while orange-tinged clouds drift above the garden landscape beyond. For a gallery wall celebrating classical Indian art and courtly traditions. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
