Horizontal rows of stacked rectangular blocks in warm ochre, forest green, cream, and charcoal create a rhythmic, woven composition that suggests shelves or strata. The slight misalignment and layered translucency of the blocks give the geometric pattern a tactile, hand-carved quality with an organic sense of movement across the surface. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
