An antique kilim rug from southeastern Anatolia displays a rich composition of interlocking diamond medallions in deep jewel tones, cream, and burgundy arranged across a geometric framework. Intricate tribal motifs in gold, blue, red, and green fill each section, creating a densely patterned textile with the handwoven authenticity and warm earthiness characteristic of traditional Turkish weaving. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist's work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
