Description
A stylized architectural composition rises from bands of warm orange, deep red, and charcoal, its cream and tan vertical forms creating a rhythmic, fortress-like structure against layered color fields. The geometric patterning and flattened perspective echo traditional kilim weaving, with precisely aligned rectangular forms suggesting both ancient stonework and the woven textile tradition from which this fragment derives. At home in a gallery-inspired space or a room celebrating textile heritage and cultural art. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
