Description
A densely patterned Swedish folk textile features a central lion's face framed by ornate pink flowering vines, white owls, blue birds, and geometric triangles against a deep black ground. The composition radiates outward in a symmetrical, ornamental style with rich embroidered colors including coral, navy, gold, and sage green that suggest the texture of antique woven textile work. At home in a maximalist space or gallery wall celebrating folk heritage and traditional craft. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
