A traditional Southeast Caucasus rug displays an intricate geometric composition dominated by a deep burgundy field with symmetrical star medallions in cream and gold throughout. Ornamental borders in red and cream frame the piece with repeating floral and geometric motifs, creating a richly layered pattern characteristic of classical Islamic textile artwork. Crafted from bamboo and made to order, with a drilled hole so it hangs on the wall as easily as it works on the counter. A kitchen essential carrying an independent artist's work, not a blank block from the big-box aisle.
