Description
Four serpents in shades of bronze, forest green, and dusty teal coil and intertwine down a cream ground, each positioned beside delicate botanical specimens rendered in muted naturalistic tones. The composition echoes the hand-colored scientific illustrations of 18th-century naturalist cabinets, combining precise linework with warm metallic accents that give the snakes an almost sculptural presence. At home in a naturalist's study or a collector's gallery space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
