A richly patterned red ground hosts an exotic menagerie of fantastical creatures in gold, teal, and black, rendered with the decorative precision of classical carpet artwork. Elongated birds and serpentine forms intersperse with delicate botanical motifs, creating a densely layered composition that speaks to the ornamental traditions of Mughal textile art. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
