An ornate hunting scene unfolds across a deep teal ground, populated with aristocratic figures on horseback, hunting dogs, and distant castles rendered in muted golds, terracottas, and soft greens. A richly patterned border of foliate scrollwork and decorative motifs frames the composition, characteristic of 17th-century French textile craftsmanship with its layered narrative detail and aged, weathered surface.
