Description
An ornate hunting scene unfolds across a deep teal ground, populated with aristocratic figures on horseback, hunting dogs, and distant castles rendered in muted golds, terracottas, and soft greens. A richly patterned border of foliate scrollwork and decorative motifs frames the composition, characteristic of 17th-century French textile craftsmanship with its layered narrative detail and aged, weathered surface. At home in a formal study, a classical library, or a room celebrating European heritage and historical textiles. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
