Description
An ornate 18th-century tapestry depicts an elaborate courtly scene where elegantly dressed figures gather in a fantastical landscape adorned with exotic birds, flowering branches, and architectural elements rendered in soft golds, crimsons, and blues. The composition balances theatrical movement with decorative detail, creating a whimsical narrative of leisure and refinement typical of Rococo sensibility and Chinoiserie fascination. At home in a formal living room or gallery space celebrating classical European art and design history. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
