Description
Figures in flowing robes and rich reds gather beneath gnarled trees in a lush pastoral landscape rendered in soft, muted tones of cream, gold, and sage. The composition captures an 18th-century romantic sensibility, with delicate linework and watercolor-like washes creating an intimate scene of leisure and classical repose among naturalistic foliage and distant architecture. At home in a traditional parlor, gallery, or refined study space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
