Description
A deep blue field densely patterned with small repeating floral motifs forms the center of this ornate carpet artwork, bordered on all sides by rich bands of intricate scrollwork, botanical details, and decorative flourishes in burnt orange, gold, and burgundy. The composition recalls the formal opulence of 19th-century English textile craftsmanship, with layered borders that frame the central ground like a jeweled frame within a frame. At home in a traditional living room or a study lined with books and antiques. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
