A cream-colored lion with intricate striped detailing dominates this richly patterned composition, rendered in warm golds, deep reds, and earth tones that recall traditional Persian textile weaving. The figure is framed by ornate floral and geometric borders in jewel tones, creating a layered, densely decorated surface with the texture and warmth of an antique handwoven rug. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
