Description
A procession of black ants moves across warm tan paper in various clustered formations, their angular bodies rendered in bold silhouette. The composition captures a moment of collective insect intelligence, arranged with the precision of naturalistic observation yet carrying an almost meditative rhythm across the neutral ground. In a workspace or study where curiosity and nature intersect. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
