Description
A traditional dragon rug from West Anatolian Armenia displays an intricate red field filled with stylized blue and cream dragons, geometric palmettes, and ornamental motifs arranged in a symmetrical composition. The dense pattern features a rich cream border framing the central artwork, creating a warm, layered depth that speaks to centuries of textile weaving tradition. At home in a study, dining room, or anywhere traditional textiles inspire conversation. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
