Description
Two minivets perch delicately on thin branches rendered in precise graphite, their bodies alive with saturated color: one displays bold black and yellow plumage while the other wears striking red and black markings. The composition balances naturalistic ornithological detail with graceful, elongated poses against a warm cream ground, capturing both scientific accuracy and the refined elegance of 19th-century natural history illustration. For the naturalist's study or a room celebrating scientific curiosity and ornithological wonder. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
