Description
A black bird with striking cobalt blue wings perches on a delicate, pale branch rendered in soft graphite, its dark plumage contrasting sharply against the cream background. The composition combines precise ornithological detail with the refined restraint of 19th-century natural history illustration, capturing both the bird's distinctive form and the subtle grace of its botanical perch. At home in a naturalist's study or a cabinet of curiosities. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
