Description
A Himalayan monal perches in profile against a cream background, its plumage rendered in jewel tones of emerald, sapphire, and gold that catch light across the wings and breast. The delicate hand-colored lithograph captures both the bird's iridescent richness and its alert posture, while a faint botanical sketch in the margin adds scholarly precision to this natural history study. At home in a naturalist's study, a gallery wall celebrating ornithological art, or a space honoring nineteenth-century scientific illustration. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
