Description
A pale-skinned woman with an elegant upturned gaze occupies the center of this composition, her off-shoulder cream gown detailed with ornamental clasps and embroidery rendered in warm earth tones. Behind her head, an elaborate halo of stylized flowers in rust, gold, and black radiates outward in symmetrical patterns characteristic of the Art Nouveau movement, while decorative black linear elements frame the composition like wings. At home in a bedroom, study, or gallery space celebrating early twentieth-century design. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
