Description
A small yellow and red warbler perches among delicate white blossoms and slender green foliage in this hand-colored ornithological study. The composition balances botanical detail with naturalistic observation, rendered in soft greens, creams, and warm accents against a pale background in the manner of 19th-century scientific illustration. At home in a naturalist's study, a library corner, or a room celebrating natural history and discovery. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
