A young military commander in ornate armor and plumed helmet turns sharply leftward, his face rendered with classical precision in warm ochres and burnt sienna tones. The mosaic technique creates a weathered, time-worn surface where thousands of small tiles build rich detail across the figure's embellished breastplate and the surrounding composition of warm golds, terracottas, and pale earth tones. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
