Description
A dense, intricately detailed world map from 1801 fills the composition in black ink on cream paper, with fine line work rendering continents, borders, and geographic features across the entire surface. The monochromatic palette and meticulous cartographic precision create a sense of historical authority and contemplative depth, inviting close inspection of the geography and navigation lines that define this early 19th-century vision of the globe. At home in a study, library, or anywhere history and geography inspire curiosity. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
