Description
Hundreds of oval seeds or beans in warm brown and deep black tones fill a grid across a white ground, each form rendered with meticulous detail and slight variation. The composition creates a meditative, almost taxonomic rhythm that hovers between scientific documentation and abstract pattern. At home in a naturalist's study or a modern gallery space. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
