A dense forest of stylized evergreen trees fills the composition in pure black linework against a white ground, their forms overlapping and interlocking to create a rhythmic, almost textile-like pattern. Scattered throughout the trees are delicate botanical elements, celestial symbols including a sun, and small animals, all rendered in the same precise black ink to build a rich, intricate natural world. Precision-cut from thick, satin-finish paperboard and made to order, in 500 or 1,000 pieces. An afternoon spent building an independent artist's work.
