Description
A dog's head gazes forward wearing an ornate golden halo, rendered entirely in intricate geometric and decorative patterns inspired by Gustav Klimt's Byzantine aesthetic. Deep blues, blacks, and golds layer across concentric circles of ornamentation, creating a portrait that merges Byzantine iconography with contemporary animal portraiture through densely patterned detail work. At home in a gallery space or a collector's study devoted to modern interpretive art. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
