Blue and purple lupine flowers rise in dense spikes across the composition, their layered petals rendered in shades of cobalt, indigo, and lavender that gradually fade toward pale blue at the tips. The lower third grounds the flowers in soft green foliage and stems, creating a naturalistic botanical study with a delicate watercolor sensibility and soft, impressionistic brushwork. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
