Description

A layered flower bud unfolds in soft earth tones, with petals rendered in cream, tan, gold, and olive that overlap and recede from a dark olive stem. The composition centers the bud against a warm beige ground, creating a calm, meditative study of natural form through simplified shapes and muted color harmony. Alisa is a self-taught Ukrainian artist living in Spain. She finds inspiration in nature (especially plants), textiles, and interior spaces. Passionate about experimenting, she enjoys exploring mixed media techniques, combining different materials to create unique textures. Her creative process is often highly intuitive, adding a sense of spontaneity and freshness to her work. In recent years, Alisa has developed a strong passion for collages and linocuts.
