Description
A woman in pale linen grips the hair of a bearded man whose head she severs with a curved blade, her expression composed and resolute as blood spills across dark drapery above. The composition explodes with muscular tension and religious drama, rendered in deep blacks and rich crimsons that pull the viewer into this moment of violent triumph. At home in a gallery wall, a study of classical narratives, or spaces that honor art history. Made to order by hand at our own Denver facility, it arrives as nine wood panels, each a half-inch thick with a keyhole on the back so it hangs easily. The natural grain shows through the artwork, so no two come out exactly alike.
